Hello! My name is Grace Hovey, and I am a professional babysitter and the CEO of Gracie Star Sitters. I grew up in Chicago and attended high school in Barrington, Illinois, where I graduated a semester early and began my education at DePaul University, where I explored multiple majors, including Early Childhood Education. In November of 2025, I made the difficult decision to leave DePaul after realizing I wanted to pursue babysitting professionally. Gracie Star Sitters is more than just babysitting for me; it’s my lifestyle. I've dedicated my career to building a childcare service rooted in reliability, communication, and genuine connection.
